Privacy Policy

Last updated: 08 Sep 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Veyqen Imaging collects, uses, stores, and handles information in connection with remote photo processing and digital image editing services. The services are intended for individuals and small businesses that provide their own image files for editing and receive finished digital files online.

By submitting information, uploading images, requesting a project, or otherwise using the website or services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, do not submit personal information or image files through the service.

1. Information We May Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly when you request services, complete a project form, communicate about an order, provide image files, or request support. Depending on the project, this may include your name, email address, business name, billing information, project instructions, requested deadlines, image quantities, and other information necessary to understand the requested work.

We may also receive technical information associated with use of the website, such as browser type, device type, operating system, approximate network location, referring page, pages viewed, and basic interaction data. Some of this information may be collected through cookies or similar technologies described in the Cookie Policy.

2. Uploaded Images and Project Files

Image files submitted for editing may contain personal information within the image itself or within file metadata. Depending on the content supplied by a client, images may include people, products, interiors, documents, locations, or other identifiable subject matter. Clients are responsible for deciding what material they provide and for ensuring that they have the authority to provide it for editing.

Uploaded images are used for the purpose of evaluating, processing, editing, exporting, and delivering the requested work. Veyqen Imaging does not require ownership of a client's source images in order to perform editing services. Files are handled only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain project records, address revisions, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.

3. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to review project requests, determine scope and pricing, communicate about editing requirements, process orders, prepare final files, maintain business records, respond to inquiries, improve website functionality, protect the service from misuse, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified operational information to understand service demand, improve workflow, and evaluate website performance. Information used in this form is not intended to identify a particular client.

4. Legal and Operational Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, processing may be based on performance of requested services, steps taken at your request before entering into a service arrangement, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, or consent when consent is the appropriate basis.

Legitimate business interests may include responding to inquiries, maintaining service security, preventing fraud or abuse, keeping appropriate business records, improving website usability, and managing service quality.

5. Payment Information

If payment is collected through a third-party payment provider, payment card or account details may be handled directly by that provider rather than stored by Veyqen Imaging. We may receive limited payment-related records such as payment status, transaction reference, date, amount, or billing name where necessary for accounting and order administration.

6. Service Providers

We may use service providers for functions such as website hosting, cloud storage, file transfer, payment processing, analytics, security, email delivery, or operational support. These providers may process information only to the extent needed to perform the services they provide to us, subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.

We do not authorize service providers to use client image files for unrelated advertising or independent commercial purposes on our behalf.

7. Retention of Information and Files

Personal information and project records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, including completion of the requested project, resolution of revisions or disputes, bookkeeping, fraud prevention, security, and compliance with applicable requirements.

Source and edited image files may be removed from active storage after a project is completed. Clients should maintain their own original files and should download and securely store final deliverables after delivery. Veyqen Imaging should not be treated as a permanent archival storage service.

8. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards may be used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration of information. No website, file-transfer method, cloud system, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Clients should avoid providing information that is not necessary for the requested editing work.

9. Client Responsibilities for Image Content

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis necessary to submit images for processing. If an image includes another person, confidential information, private property, protected artwork, or other regulated or restricted content, the client is responsible for determining whether submission is appropriate and lawful.

Clients should remove unnecessary embedded metadata or sensitive information before upload if that information is not required for the editing request.

10. Children

The services are not designed for children to submit projects independently. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable law. If you believe information has been submitted by a child without appropriate authorization, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies or similar technologies that support essential site operation, preference storage, security, and analytics. Additional information about the categories and purposes of these technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to verification, exceptions, record-retention requirements, and other legal conditions.

To make a privacy-related request, provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records and understand the request. We may need to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request before acting on it.

13. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. The availability and scope of those rights depend on the law, the nature of the information, and whether the business meets the applicable legal thresholds. Veyqen Imaging does not state that every state privacy statute applies to every interaction.

Where a qualifying law applies, requests will be handled in accordance with the rights and exceptions provided by that law.

14. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Veyqen Imaging does not operate a business model based on selling client image files or personal information as a product. If website technology or advertising practices change in a way that creates additional notice or opt-out obligations under applicable law, this Privacy Policy and related controls may be updated accordingly.

15. International Access

The website may be accessible from locations outside the United States. If you provide information from another country, that information may be processed in the United States or in other locations used by service providers. Data protection rules may differ between jurisdictions.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when services, website functionality, operational practices, or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top indicates the most recent stated update. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised policy will apply to later interactions to the extent permitted by law.
